Portfolio review day 5/9

My experience of the portfolio review day

I had a great experience at the portfolio review day. I got an appointment to talk with a representative from Meat and Potatoes and Saputo Design. When I went there I heard Saputo Design had to cancel out but I was able to talk with a guy named Josh from Meat and Potatoes. Josh is a cool guy. He gave me great feedback and input of my work that I did on previous classes. He told me a few may need a little work or improvise. The main thing he told me that I really need a portfolio that you design through Indesign. I didn't know that you can put all of the work to make the work 3x better. He also told me that since this is my 1st year at CSUN, for the next semesters that I have at CSUN, he said that I need to really push it. I learned a few things from him on my work that starting this summer, I'm going to spend time working on my stuff to really improvise on what I got from him and from all of my professors at CSUN. This was really a wake up call for me and I'm glad that I was about to make it. Hopefully next year when they come back I will have my work in a portfolio and really improve my work.
